– Shed & pool house greater than 107 square feet
– Shed & pool house that contains any plumbing fixture
– A deck or porch with a roof structure construction
– Small interior renovations that require plumbing
– Basement walkouts or Grade Entrance
Permit Required – Large-Scale Projects
Large projects that are regulated by the Ontario Building Code and require a permit include:
– House Design
– Additional Dwelling Units (ADUs)
– Garages
– Additions
– Cottages
– Extensive interior renovations (demolition or construction of walls, installation of plumbing)
